Registration Status: Player registration is NOT 'complete' until we have received your payment (see fees below), and until you are notified that the player has been placed onto a team.
Waitlist: If your age group is full you will be put on a ‘waiting list’. We will contact you as soon as we are able to place the player on a team.
Proof of Age: We MUST receive Proof of Age for ALL players entering U11, and for ALL NEW players entering U12-U18. As soon as you register, either email to info@lionsgatesoccer.com or fax to 604-648-8771, a photocopy of the player's birth certificate, passport, or immigration papers. Medical cards are not acceptable. No originals please.
You cannot participate in evaluations until we receive a copy of your prrof of age.
You will not be assigned to a team until we receive a copy of your proof of age.

Registration Fees - (All Age Groups)

$195.00 per player (all age groups)

Registration fee is pro-rated from Nov. 1st to registration close date.
- $20.00 late fee applied to all who register after May 31st.

Third child in a family is FREE

Pay by Credit Card (Visa or MC) or Cheque.
U11-U18 Select Team Evaluation Camp Fees - (for those who choose to attend)

Sign-up, and pay, for Evaluation Camp when you register for the season.

$30.00 if you register and pay BEFORE the 1st night of evaluations

$50.00 on the 1st night of evaluations. You cannot attend Evaluation Camp if you are not registered for the season.

Refunds

Refund requests are accepted until September 30 and are subject to a $25.00 administrative fee.

No refunds are issued after Sept. 30th.

Evaluation Camp Fees are NOT refundable.

No refunds will be issued because of game cancellations due to field closures.

All returning players will be emailed a User Name and Password to use for their registration. If you did not receive this email, please contact the Registrar to obtain your User Name and Password. Please DO NOT register as a New User as it will return an error message saying you already exist.
Registration Deadlines:
April 30 - Registration Deadline for players entering U11-U18 to ensure placement on the same team as last year.
May 31 - Registration Deadline for players entering U7-U10 to ensure placement on the same team as last year.
Registrations received after these deadlines will be processed on a first come first serve basis. We will try to accommodate your placement requests, but cannot guarantee it.
May 31 - All registrations received after May 31 are subject to a $20.00 late fee.

From another Club?
Any player who played with another North Shore Club last season should read our Out-of-CLub Policy. Please note:
- We do not accept registrations for players who are registered with another club for the same season.
- We do not accept registrations for players that are/were registered with another club for the same season and participated in their evaluation camps (tryouts).

| Financial Assistance | |

There are several options available to those families requiring financial assistance to help with payment of soccer registration fees.
|
|
|
1. A4K (Athletics For Kids) is a North Shore organization that was set up so that "all children, regardless of financial constraints of parents or guardians, should be able to participate in organized amateur sport". For Information & applications :

2. KidSport is a national organization which "assists children by overcoming financial barriers which prevent or limit their participation in organized sport." We are lucky to have a local chapter here on the North Shore. Their application form is very simple and does not require detailed financial scrutiny. Kidsport has increased it's grant to a maximum of $150.00 per child per year. For more information:

3. Loren Bradfield Memorial Fund. Loren Bradfield was a player in our soccer club and according to his parents he had the best times of his life when he was playing soccer with his buddies in Lions Gate. Guy Bradfield, Loren's father and long time Lions Gate volunteer, remembers the positive influence soccer had on his son's life. Following Loren's passing, Guy requested donations be made to our Club in lieu of flowers. At his parent's request, the Loren Bradfield Memorial Fund will be used to encourage continuing participation in soccer.
The Board has decided to use the Fund to sponsor individuals each year who would otherwise not have the financial means to participate in community soccer. This fund could cover the cost of basic soccer gear of soccer shoes and shin guards. This fund may be an option for those who have used Kidsport funding for another sport.

For those requesting financial assistance please register using Online Registration(and save $10.00) and follow these steps:
- Choose Cheque as the payment method.
- Enter in the Payment Notes field: application for funding through A4K/Kidsport/Loren Bradfield and enter the one you have applied for.
Lions Gate Soccer hopes that no child will be prevented from playing soccer for financial reasons.
